Biography

Born and raised in Methuen, Massachusetts, at sixteen, Pamela Perry moved to Knoxville, Tennessee with her parents, a culture shock to say the least. She loves the warm weather and sweet personality of East Tennessee, but she does miss the salty air and ocean views of New Hampshire's beaches. When not working in an office, she's stretching on a mat or sitting at a local coffee shop, creating worlds and building characters. Yoga keeps her sane; coffee keeps her human.

Pamela's writing journey began with poetry publications in high school, followed by writing projects in college. When she took her craft to the next level, it was within a class at The Institute of Children's Literature, where Emma's Gossip Column originated, and her first published book was born. Following that feat, through several informative writing groups, she's developed better writing practices, having learned to show rather than tell, to build worlds, and to develop character personalities and transformations. Her tagline has since become, 'Fan of beating the odds, no matter how many worlds I must travel through'.

Surrounded by encouragers, including a loving fiancé, two grown children, and four fat cats, Pamela is ever looking forward to her next therapeutic writing session.
