Biography

Born and raised in Methuen, Massachusetts, at sixteen, Pamela Perry moved to Knoxville, Tennessee with her parents, a culture shock to say the least. She loves the warm weather and sweet personality of East Tennessee, but she does miss the salty air and ocean views of New Hampshire's beaches. When not working in an office, she's stretching on a mat or sitting at a local coffee shop, creating worlds and building characters. Yoga keeps her sane; coffee keeps her human.

Pamela's writing journey began with poetry publications in high school, followed by writing projects in college. When she took her craft to the next level, it was within a class at The Institute of Children's Literature, where Emma's Gossip Column originated, and her first published book was born. Still, since then, through several informative writing groups, she's learned to show rather than tell, to build worlds, and to develop character personalities and transformations.

Ever surrounded by encouragers, including a loving fiancé, two grown children, and four fat cats, at some point in her crazy life, Pamela plans on revisiting the sea where she'll write amidst its salt-laden winds.
